Distribution Manager

About the role

Digicel is looking for a Distribution Manager in Providenciales to manage and optimise prepaid recharge operations, inventory control, distribution channels, handset pricing and MSISDN management. The goal is to ensure product availability, operational efficiency, revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate prepaid recharge operations across online platforms, retail stores, distributors and resellers, monitor recharge sales and distribution, and run channel audits
• Analyse recharge trends and customer behaviour to optimise replenishment and inventory levels, and review competitor recharge initiatives
• Oversee logistics planning, inventory movement and distribution channel performance, working with logistics partners and distributors
• Collaborate with Retail Sales, Business Sales and Commercial teams on monthly forecasts and stock levels of mobile devices, SIM cards, recharge products and accessories
• Maintain accurate inventory records, reconcile physical stock with system records and minimise stock-outs, excess and aged stock
• Prepare pricing analyses for handsets and promotions under SAC guidelines, and set up pricing for new devices
• Manage MSISDN inventory, forecast needs and coordinate applications for additional number ranges with the Telecommunications Commission
• Build relationships with vendors, distributors and resellers, negotiate terms, evaluate performance and support reseller direct plan-selling initiatives
• Prepare operational reports on recharge sales, inventory, SAC position and distribution performance, and drive continuous improvement
• Handle device-related issues through internal teams and external providers, recording repairs in the device repair tracker

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Management or a related field
• 2 years' experience in a similar role; academic and work experience may combine to meet the minimum
• Certification in inventory and logistics, and experience in the mobile telecommunications sector, are valued assets

Required skills

• Strong understanding of prepaid recharge systems, telecom products and distribution operations
• Knowledge of logistics coordination, inventory management and supply chain best practices
• Analytical, forecasting and problem-solving skills
• Vendor and stakeholder relationship management, and strong communication and organisational skills
