Feet On The Street Sales Representative

About the role

Digicel, a digital connectivity and communications provider serving nine million customers across the Caribbean, Central and South America, is hiring a Feet On The Street Sales Agent in Providenciales. The main purpose is to sell Digicel products and services to new customers and to up-sell and cross-sell to existing ones. Agents work at various locations, including in-store sites and pop-up tents, on different islands within the Turks and Caicos Islands at the company's expense.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned locations to promote and sell Digicel products and services
• Take part in sales promotions and events aimed at growing the subscriber base
• Record prospect information accurately on the signup sheet and achieve sales targets while keeping customers satisfied
• Greet customers, explain product benefits and recommend devices based on their needs
• Process device sales, check devices and explain warranties according to company policy
• Sell and activate prepaid SIMs, and sell and upgrade cable and broadband services
• Troubleshoot service and handset issues, schedule field service calls and handle account adjustments
• Report customer complaints promptly and follow cash-handling procedures
• Configure APN, set up email addresses and apps so customers can use voice, SMS and data after leaving the store

Required profile

• High school diploma with passes in English and Math at CXC or GCE level
• Previous sales experience is an asset; customer service experience is also an asset
• Ability to speak Spanish or Creole is an advantage
• Ownership or access to a reliable motor vehicle is a distinct advantage
